THE DECISIVE ROLE OF SECTORAL TECHNOLOGY INTENSITY IN THE IMPACT OF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DIFFUSION ON INNOVATION PERFORMANCE: AN EMPIRICAL APPLICATION ON THE TURKISH MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Küreselleşen dünya ekonomisinde artan rekabet baskısı, sürekli büyümeyi hedefleyen ülkelerin pazar paylarını daha da güçlendirmelerini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu ise günümüzde teknolojik yeniliklere ve bunların temel kaynağı olan bilimsel bilgiye sahip olmayı gerektirmektedir. bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, uluslararası teknoloji yayılma kanallarının Türk imalat sanayinde faaliyet gösteren firmaların yenilik performansı üzerine etkilerini incelemek bu etkinin sektörel yoğunluğuna göre anlamlı farklılıklar gösterip göstermediğini ortaya koymaktır. doğrultuda, 2011–2015 dönemini kapsayan 311 firmaya ait veriler TÜİK’den elde edilmiştir. SGMM tahmincisine dayalı olarak edilen sonuçlar, sadece yüksek yoğun endüstri kollarında özümseme yeteneklerinin üzerinde pozitif güçlü bir etkiye olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca çalışma sonuçları, doğrudan yabancı yatırımların düşük sektörlerde firmalara İhracat faaliyetlerinin etkisinde yer aldığı sektörler arasında farklılık bulunmamaktadır. Diğer taraftan, transfer harcamaları yeni ürün satışları firmalar özelinde sahiptir.
